Position Purpose:
Arc welds ferrous and non-ferrous materials by use of electric arc process in all positions per AWS D 15.. Performs repairs, changes, improvements, and conversions to car parts and assembles such under-frame, trucks, insulation jackets etc. dismantles, repairs, installs and/or renews coils, valves and miscellaneous tank car fittings. Performs testing operations on rolling stock as required
This position will be 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm, Monday-Friday).
