The Senior IT Business Solutions Analyst, within the Information Technology group works directly with the IT Director - Ops in providing IT activity guidance for the Ops business functions specifically, and other business areas in general. In addition, the Senior IT Business Solutions Analyst – Ops plays a leadership role in delivery phases of strategic and transformational application initiatives.  The incumbent is also responsible for completing service requests that pertain to the Ops and other business areas while ensuring cross functional integration and impacts are considered.  The position partners with peers within the IT group and across business functions to ensure successful completion of technology related initiatives and activities.

 

Qualified candidates who are currently Wells Fargo Rail employees will be given priority consideration over other external applicants.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison with Ops and related business functions, leading implementation of new and streamlined tools, applications, and processes to support their operations.  Consider differing approaches, viewpoints, and expectations while working toward attaining goals and objectives on schedule through successful teamwork.
  • Provide routine application support for business functions.  Support activities include but are not limited to:
  • Process Improvement
  • Develop and maintain proper system documentation (e.g. User guides, training materials, process flows, policies/procedures, job aids, SOX404 supporting material, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Master’s degree is a plus
  • 10+ years of business application analysis and design experience with a proven track record of delivering business value through software solutions in a highly collaborative environment
  • Agile application development project experience required (5+ years)
  • Agile project management experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of leasing and asset service industries desired (5+ years)
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Experience with mission-critical, web-based application development projects is required
  • Must possess sound technical and analytical skills that enable the person to interact very effectively with both software developers and business users
  • Strong data analysis skills.  Ability to understand, develop, and assess data designs.  Ability to query data and identity application improvements that will improve and ensure data quality
  • Strong general software development process skills:
    • Proficient designing and guiding software solutions that span multiple technologies including Java/JavaScript, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, TIBCO/MuleSoft, SAP and Mainframe
    • Proficient in the use of sound Agile software development practices
    • Outstanding attention to detail and testing of solutions
    • Strong functional application design skills
  • Experience with AI solutions is a plus
  • Must demonstrate strong customer focus, communication skills, a sense of urgency, and a win-win approach to meeting business requirements and resolving problems

Min

USD $90,400.00/Yr.

Max

USD $134,600.00/Yr.

 

This role may be eligible to participate in the Company’s short-term incentive plan, the details of which will be provided to the applicant upon hire.

 

This range is a reasonable estimate and takes into account several factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, geographic location, skill set, experience, education, training, internal equity, and other business needs.
