This position will be responsible for assisting the facility in achieving a pleasant and functional indoor/outdoor work environment by following all health and safety regulations. 

• Safely operate a variety of tools including but not limited to pressure washers, drills saws, grinders and blowtorches.
• Perform landscaping duties including but not limited to cutting grass, planting flowers, trimming hedges and shoveling Will be required to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Clean railroad tracks, sewers and Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials.
• Pick up and sort bolts and ensure all tools and cleaned properly.
• Performs various errands for members of
• Clean up and remove scrap, waste materials and trimmings from the work
• Keep areas of the facility including but not limited to, restrooms, breakrooms, and work areas clean and orderly.

• Keeps work area in a clean and orderly
• Comply with the established safety policies, support-continuing awareness for safety, and when possible, recommend specific changes and improvements to health and safety policies and programs.

• Ability to read and interpret
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide two digits
• Ability to reason through and plan work details and procedures to obtain desired
• Must be able operate motorized
• Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and
• Basic computer knowledge and strong communication skills
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions

• Must be able to stoop for extended periods and routinely move from kneeling to standing
• Must be able to perform overhead work for extended
• Must be able to safely lift (vertically) up to 51 pounds, regularly, and safely lift up to 85 pounds, occasionally, from the ground surface.
• Must be able to push/pull (horizontally) up to 140 pounds of
• Must be able to climb ladders and perform work at elevated
• Must be able to work in extreme temperature environments
• Must be able to physically enter confined space and work in enclosed environments

The starting hourly rate for this position is $26.17 per hour. The rate for this position is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
